Greenspring Honors Residents during Volunteer Appreciation Week

Volunteers generously donate their time to the community and organizations, including libraries, food pantries, external churches, & more!

(Greenspring)

Greenspring, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Springfield, Pa., celebrated National Volunteer Appreciation Week with a festive event for resident volunteers on April 16. With over 360 residents actively engaged in volunteerism, Greenspring's impact extends on campus and throughout the local community. Volunteers generously donate their time to the community and organizations, including libraries, food pantries, external churches, Fairfax County Parks, theaters, musical groups, schools, and more.

At the recognition event, residents enjoyed appetizers and sparkling cider. Greenspring employees thanked residents for all their service and dedication to giving back to the community. They also had the opportunity to recognize a resident with words of acknowledgment and gratitude on a display board, which is currently on exhibit in the community.
