Luncheon And Author Discussion Will Benefit Children's Programs
Assistance League Event Will Feature Authors Discussing Their Biographies Of Two Important Women

There’s just one month left to buy tickets to the fabulous Literary Luncheon and Fundraiser that Assistance League of Northern Virginia is hosting on Sunday, April 28, at the Chantilly National Golf and Country Club. Purchase your tickets by April 14 to ensure that you and your guests can be seated at the same table.
Besides enjoying a savory lunch in a beautiful setting, you’ll hear the principal of a school that the nonprofit serves describe how the chapter has helped her students cope with the hurdles they face. Assistance League will have live auctions of travel packages to destinations around the globe, and an array of unique silent auction items. You’ll also be treated to a discussion by Judith Pearson and Christopher Gorham of their biographies of Mary Lasker (The Crusade to Heal America) and Anna Rosenberg (The Confidante), two women who had a profound impact on post-war America. Peggy Fox will be the moderator of the Q&A session after their presentation. Their books will be available for purchase before and after lunch, and the authors will be happy to sign them for you.
