Most Popular Books Of 2022 Released By Fairfax County Public Library
Fairfax County Public Library revealed its top circulating titles, with the e-book edition of "The Midnight Library" leading the way.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Fairfax County Public Library revealed its top circulating materials of 2022 on Monday, with the e-book edition of “The Midnight Library” by British novelist Matt Haig leading the way as the top overall circulating title.
The top circulating print title for adult fiction was John Grisham’s “The Judge’s List” and the top print title for adult nonfiction was “Crying in H Mart” by Michelle Zauner, FCPL said.
For children, the top circulating print title was “Fetch-22; Dog Man series” by Dav Pilkey, and for teens, “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” by Suzanne Collins was the top circulating print title.

FCPL said that for the seventh year in a row, the library system ranked among a handful of public libraries in the U.S. with more than 2 million digital checkouts for the year.
The library system also is on track to record more than 10 million loans overall for 2022.

“The Midnight Library” was also the top circulating eAudiobook at FCPL in 2022, while “The Economist” was the top circulating eMagazine.
FCPL said that reading materials, whether in paper format or electronic, are still the main draw of local residents to its nearly two dozen library branches across the county.
