Santa Runs, Meet And Greets, Pancake Breakfast Coming To Burke

BURKE, VA — The Burke Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department is bringing back its Meet & Greets with Santa, Santa Runs and its Pancakes with Santa events.

Pancakes with Santa will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the banquet hall at the fire station. Breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, fruit, coffee, hot chocolate, and juice.

Tickets for the pancake breakfast that are bought by Dec. 3 will save $2 on each adult ticket. A ticket is required for all, regardless of age. The public should visit the fire department’s Pancakes with Santa page for details and to purchase tickets.

The fire department’s Santa Runs will take place between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, Sunday, Dec. 4, Sunday, Dec. 11, Saturday, Dec. 17, and Sunday, Dec. 18.

The list of neighborhoods, subdivisions, street directions and maps will be posted on the Santa Run page when the fire department has completed the logistics.

The two Meet & Greets with Santa will be held in the banquet hall at the fire station from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7 and Wednesday, Dec. 14.
