Sex Assault: Police Release Video of Suspect in Parking Lot
Police say surveillance video shows suspect in early morning March 30 sexual assault and robbery of woman in Springfield.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police have released surveillance video footage (see below) that shows someone they say is the suspect in a sex assault and robbery that took place March 30.
Officers responded to the 7000 block of Commerce Street on Wednesday, March 30, shortly after 6 a.m. for the report of a robbery.
A 40-year-old woman was walking alone behind the shopping center when an unknown male grabbed her and pulled her into a storage container where he robbed and sexually assaulted her.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Division are continuing the investigation and have canvassed the area extensively. We are asking the community for their assistance in helping to identify the suspect.
