Springfield Missing Teen and Baby: Search Widens to Include Father of Child
Fairfax County Police will be out Tuesday in area where missing teen and baby were last seen in Springfield area.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police are on the lookout for Jose Castillo Rivas, 18, in connection with missing teen Lizzy Lizbeth Rivera Colindres and her 5-month old baby boy, Aidan Castillo Rivera, police announced Tuesday morning. Castillo Rivas is the baby's father, police said.
Lizzy, 16, and her baby were last seen on Jan. 14 at their home on Rhoden Court, in Springfield, according to police. Her mom reported her missing the next day and they were entered as missing juveniles. Initially, detectives believed Lizzy left voluntarily with Aidan and her son’s father, Castillo Rivas, but new information suggests she and the baby might be in danger and left home out of fear of him, police said.
Police say there have been "ongoing issues in court between them, to include a protective order against him."
Detectives have continued to work to follow tips and leads to find Lizzy and her baby and return them safely home to her mother, but still need local residents' help.
