Teen Killed, 3 Others Hospitalized In Crash On Burke Centre Parkway
A teenager was killed and three other teens were hospitalized with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Burke.
BURKE, VA — A teenager was killed and three other teens were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night on Burke Centre Parkway in Burke, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Detectives believe that speed was a factor in the crash that occurred around 9 p.m., FCPD Lieutenant James Curry said in a statement Tuesday night.
The 5700 block of Burke Center Parkway was closed Tuesday night as police investigated the fatal crash.

The four teenagers were in a car driving on Burke Center Parkway when another vehicle slammed into them, causing their car to go up in flames, Fairfax County police said. Bystanders tried to pull the teenagers from the burning car before firefighters arrived, NBC4 reported.
The driver of the car with the teenagers is the one who died, according to reports.

Police are asking members of the public who were in the area of the crash to call the FCPD non-emergency number at 703-691-2131 if they have information about the fatal crash.
Police said that updates are likely to be provided on Wednesday as detectives continue to investigate the crash.
