CENTREVILLE, VA—One person was killed early Monday, April 22, at an apartment complex fire in the 13600 block of Bent Tree Circle, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. Thirty residents from 13 apartments were displaced from their homes.

The fire, which caused damages of more than $600,000, began around 1 a.m. and was quickly extinguished. But Fire and Rescue captain Tracey Reed told WTOP several hot spots continued to be sprayed until around 5 a.m.
