Centreville Resident Robbed by Advertisement Respondent

No injuries were reported, Fairfax County Police said.

A person who placed an advertisement online was attacked on Monday by a person who responded to it, Fairfax County Police said. 

It happened at 6:20 p.m. on the 14000 block of Lady Madonna Court where the victim had agreed to meet a person who was interested in buying the property she was selling. 

Once there, the suspect pulled out a handgun and assaulted the victim, then took the property, police said.  No injuries were reported. 

The suspect then fled in a dark, four-door Honda Accord. The suspect is described as a black man in his twenties who stands  about 5' 11" tall.
