Clifton Student Enrolls at Private University in New York

A young Clifton resident is now a proud member of a New York private school's class of 2017. 

Steven D. Peterson, a graduate of Flint Hill School in Fairfax, is enrolled at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. 

Every freshman student participates in the university's First-Year Program, which helps students make the transition from high school to college. 

Peterson isn't alone. About 634 first-year students, including 72 international students are now a part of the university.
