Elementary Students Choose Books At Assistance League Event

Assistance League of Northern Virginia volunteers participated in a "Build a Child's Library" event this month at a Title 1 elementary school in Fairfax County. Every child in the school was invited to come to the event, choose a book of their liking and sign the inside cover, designating that the book was theirs to keep. Over 300 books were gifted and there were smiles all around.
