• This Festival Of Lights Only 45 Minutes Away From The District Features Miles Of Festive Displays – Plus A Christmas Village Complete With A Petting Zoo, Camel Rides, & Carnival (secretdc.com) — Centreville’s Bull Run Regional Park is again hosting the Bull Run Festival of Lights, a 2.5‑mile drive-through display with an added Holiday Village and carnival. Running nightly from Nov. 14, 2025, through Jan. 4, 2026, it features rides, vendors, and a petting zoo, with car admission starting at $32.45 online and extra ticketing for carnival attractions.
   

• Planned Lake Barcroft independent living complex lands financing (ffxnow.com) — Centreville gets a brief nod as developer Wesley Housing, which already operates the Madison Ridge community here, secures key bond financing for a new affordable senior complex near Lake Barcroft. The 95-unit Kindred Crossing project will serve older adults with moderate incomes, include a new clinic space, and is expected to finish construction in 2027 after financing closes next spring.
