• Planned Lake Barcroft independent living complex lands financing (ffxnow.com) — Centreville gets a brief spotlight as Wesley Housing, which operates the Madison Ridge apartments here, secures major bond financing for its new Kindred Crossing senior complex near Lake Barcroft. The Fairfax County-backed project will add 95 affordable independent-living units for older adults, most reserved for residents earning half the area’s median income, with construction expected to start after financing closes in early 2026.
