Flags To Honor 9/11 Firefighters Displayed In Centreville
A West Centreville fire station is displaying U.S. flags to honor New York City firefighters who died on Sept. 11, 2001.

CENTREVILLE, VA — As it does each year, the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department's Station 38, West Centreville, has placed 343 U.S. flags in front of the station.
They honor the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) firefighters who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.
Each flag has a white tag on top with the name of one of the FDNY firefighters. The flags will be on display through Sunday, Sept. 15.
