Lovettsville Artists Open Their Doors This Weekend
Check out the Catoctin Holiday Art Tour Saturday and Sunday.

Lovettsville-area artists will open up their home studios for the Catoctin Holiday Art Tour this weekend, Nov. 9-10, from noon to 6 p.m.
Eighteen artists in seven studios will participate this year; all within a five-mile radius of the Lovettsville. You may have seen Art the Snowman advertising the event; he’s been rotating among the tour’s various sponsors and has even been spotted in Maryland.
Paintings, jewelry, ornaments, functional ceramics, fiber art, including hooked pillows and hand-knit accessories, sculpture and children’s toys are among the items patrons might see.

“This is a great time of year for a studio tour,” Lovettsville painter Alice Mullen said in a press release. “The foliage is beautiful—you get to enjoy the scenic country roads north of Route 9, get some holiday shopping done, and discover what talented people live in the area. I can’t think of a better way to spend a November weekend in Loudoun County.”
Those interested in visiting the studios can download a map from the Catoctin Holiday Art Tour at the webpage: www.catoctinart.net or keep updated at the group’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/catoctinholidayarttour.
