ROBBERY, 2021-07130155, 1300 block of S. Joyce Street. At approximately 6:08 pm. on July 13, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect entered the storage area of a business and took merchandise. When an employee confronted the suspect and attempted to stop him from leaving the scene, the suspect struck the employee with the merchandise and fled the area on foot. The suspect is described as a Black male, 6’0” – 6’3” tall. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY, 2021-07120037/07120039, 2700 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 5:27 a.m. on July 12, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that two suspects forced entry to a business by breaking the glass door and stole merchandise. The suspects are described as males wearing light colored zip up jackets with the hood up, darker colored jeans and sneakers. While on scene, officers located a second business with a broken window. It was unknown at the time of the report if anything was stolen from the second business. The investigation is ongoing.
MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED DWELLING, 2021-07130041, 3900 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 6:09 a.m. on July 13, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was awoken at approximately 10:00 p.m. on July 12 to a loud pop sound. The following morning, she discovered a bullet hole in her window. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
