Assistance League Provides Colorful Pillows
Pillows with Activity Items Will Cheer Young Children
Recently members of Assistance League of Northern Virginia gathered at a local library for a Hugs Pillow Workshop. In about an hour, the charity’s members packed over 250 pillows with Beanie Babies, Activity Books, stickers and crayons. The colorful heart-shaped pillows are destined for first graders at three elementary schools in Manassas as a welcome-back gesture and with the hope that the pillows will ease the transition back to in-person learning.
