Arrest Warrant Issued After Suspect In 2019 Ballston Stabbing Fails To Appear In Court
Arlington County Police issued an arrest warrant for Theodore Li who failed to show up to Circuit Court in his malicious wounding case.

CLARENDON, VA — Arlington County Police are asking the public's help in locating Theodore Li, who's wanted in connection with a 2019 stabbing in Clarendon, according to a police release.
Officers working the Nightlife Detail responded around 12:31 a.m., on Dec. 15, 2019 for a request to disperse a large crowd leaving a business in the 3100 block of Clarendon Blvd. The officers encountered a victim who'd been stabbed multiple times, according to police.
An investigation revealed that the victim and Li were arguing, when Li pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times, according to police. The officers took Li into custody without incident and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police charged Li with malicious wounding, but he later failed to appear in Circuit Court.
Police described Li as a 35-year-old Asian man, who stands 5-foot-8 and weights 180 pounds. His last known address was in Alexandria.
