Woman Hospitalized Following Pedestrian-Involved Crash In Clarendon Area
Arlington County Police are investigating a pedestrian-involved crash that left a woman critically injured in the hospital.

CLARENDON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating a pedestrian-involved crash that seriously injured a woman Wednesday afternoon in the Clarendon area, according to a police release.
Officers responded around 1:44 p.m. to the 2700 block of Wilson Blvd. for the report of a crash with injuries. Following a preliminary investigation, police determined that a vehicle turning from North Edgewood Street onto Wilson Boulevard struck a parked vehicle, which resulted in a pedestrian also being struck. In addition, another vehicle and a light pole were damaged by the impact of the crash. The driver of the striking vehicle stayed on the scene while police investigated the crash.
Police identified the pedestrian as a woman. She was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries. On Thursday morning, she remained in the hospital in critical condition.
