- Prince William County Police Department: "BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY: Please join us in congratulating Officers Miley, Watford and Gail for being selected as the Eastern District Officers of the Month.In June 2021, officers responded to car dealership in Woodbridge for a report of a stabbing. A man stated he had been stabbed in the chest by an acquaintance and locked himself in a bathroom within the business. Upon arrival, the officers quickly moved through the business locating the man bleeding heavily from his chest. Officer Gail maintained security, attempting to determine the location of the suspect. Officers Miley and Watford began treating the injury and calming the man. Officers collected suspect information and provided updates for responding officers which aided in quickly locating and detaining him near the business, making it safe for Emergency Medical Services to enter and continue care.
