Shots Fired On Benita Fitzgerald Drive In Dale City: Police
Investigators with the Prince William County Police Department are looking for more information about a shots fired incident in Dale City.

DALE CITY, VA — Gunshots rang out in Dale City on Tuesday afternoon, police said. No injuries or property damage was reported after the shooting.
The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15. Officers responded to the area of Benita Fitzgerald Way and Brickwood Drive to investigate.
Authorities determined that a group of males were near the dumpster on Brickwood Drive. The males may have been underage, police said.

Another group of males approached the group near the dumpster. An argument began, according to the police report.
The argument continued as the groups began to separate. Someone fired multiple gunshots during the encounter, authorities said.

Both groups ran away from the scene before officers arrived. The police department said that there were no injuries reported in the shooting.
