Shots Fired In Dale City Neighborhood, Suspect Sought: Police
Authorities in Prince William County are looking for a man who fired multiple gunshots into a house and two vehicles in Dale City on Monday.
DALE CITY, VA — Gunshots rang out in a Dale City neighborhood on Monday morning, striking one home and two vehicles. Now, police are looking for the man accused of firing the shots. No injuries were reported in the shooting, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Police responded to Dunbar Lane in the Darbydale section of Dale City at 8:40 a.m. to investigate a shots fired call. Through their investigation, officers determined that an unknown man shot multiple rounds from a firearm while walking down the street near Dunbar Lane.
"The man initially fled on foot before he was seen getting into a silver 4-door sedan and fleeing the area prior to police arriving at the location," the Prince William County Police Department wrote in their report.

While investigating, police officers found one home and two parked vehicles that suffered damage. Authorities said they "sustained damage consistent with being struck by projectiles."
The suspect is described as man in his late teens or early 20s with a slim build. At the time of the shooting, he was wearing a black jacket and light-colored pants. Authorities were not able to identify the race or ethnicity of the man.
