Suspect Still At Large After Cutting A Man, Preventing Him From Fleeing: Police
Police in Prince William County are looking for a man who is accused of stabbing a victim at a home in Dale City on Friday morning.

DALE CITY, VA — One man was injured on Friday morning when he was stabbed at a home in Dale City, police said. Now, police have identified a suspect, 42-year-old Robert Dejell Rufus Jackson.
Officers responded to a home in the 3700 block of Greenwood Drive around 4:30 a.m. on Friday. Through their investigation, authorities determined that the 41-year-old victim and Jackson were arguing in the home.
The police department claimed that Jackson cut the victim when the argument escalated. Officers also said that Jackson prevented the victim from leaving the home.

A 911 caller told police that the front door was ajar. Rescue personnel responded to the scene and took the victim to a nearby hospital. His injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.
Police believe the suspect fled the scene before the caller found the victim.

Authorities obtained warrants for Jackson, but they have been unable to locate him so far. He faces charges of malicious wounding and abduction.

Police described Jackson as a Black man who is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
