Alexandria City Public Schools Supply Lists

Alexandria City Public Schools students attending Mount Vernon Community School and Samuel W. Tucker—which operate on a modified calendar—return to school on Thursday, Aug. 1.

The first day for all other Alexandria City Public Schools is Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Below are links to the school supply lists of every ACPS elementary and middle school.

Del Ray Variety, located at 203 E. Custis Ave., has all the lists on hand in the store.

A Virginia sales tax holiday begins Friday, Aug. 2 and ends Sunday Aug. 4 allowing consumers to purchase certain school supplies, clothing and footwear with no sales tax. Each eligible school supply item must be priced at $20 or less and each eligible article of clothing and footwear must cost $100 or less.

ACPS high school supplies vary depending on the course, so supply lists are not posted in advance. Students should bring pencils or pens and paper on the first day of classes.
