Alexandria Pet Of The Week: Master Of Puppy Dog Eyes

Patch regularly features pets from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which runs the city's animal shelter and provides other animal services.

Roger, 10-month-old

Roger is a 10-month-old male dog who - without a doubt - has become a "puppy dog eyes" master. Roger has such a heart-melting stare ... you can't help but say "awww!!!" This young boy is stocky, sweet and just a love. He absolutely adores everyone he meets. He's a social guy that also enjoys to play with toys - plushie, squeaky, chew toys, whatever! They're all his favorite. He's done so well with training with our staff and volunteers. He is doing excellent on a leash and is learning clicker training. Since he's a young pup, continued training and work on his manners will be needed to make sure he learns to be the best boy he can be!
