ALEXANDRIA, VA -- A person was robbed and assaulted early Monday in an area just off of West Glebe Road, according to police.The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the robbery in the 3800 block of Florence Drive (see map below). Police did not say what time the incident took place, but posted a message about it just before 3 a.m. Monday.A suspect stole the victim's cell phone and struck the victim, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
