Weather Cancels Cinema Del Ray 'Toy Story' Saturday Night

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- A string of thunderstorms rumbled through Northern Virginia Saturday, canceling events including Saturday's Cinema Del Ray showing of "Toy Story."

Visit Del Ray announced the cancellation on their Facebook page. Sponsor Jen Walker also announced the cancellation, on Twitter:

On Saturday, Cinema Del Ray is going to infinity and beyond with the showing of "Toy Story," at the Mount Vernon Rec Center fields, at 2701 Commonwealth Ave.

The fun begins at 7 p.m., the free movie starts at dusk. The weather forecast for Saturday is mostly cloudy, with a 40 percent chance of showers. You can bring a blanket and a picnic, but leave your furry puppy friends at home. Popcorn and other movie snacks will be available for purchase.
