Fascinating Fiber, Alluring Fabric Art Exhibit

Fascinating Fiber, Alluring Fabric Art Exhibit September 6–28, 2024 Reception: Friday, September 6, 7-9pm

Fiber art fascinates by taking art outside the frame—it is unique, dimensional, and tactile. Draped, stitched, or embellished fabric sparks creativity and delights the senses, as itself and when depicted in other visual art forms. The Fascinating Fiber, Alluring Fabric art exhibit at Del Ray Artisans focuses on fiber and fabric art but also highlights their influence on other mediums as well. This exhibit showcases art from local area artists. Judy Gula, owner of Artistic Artifacts, selected the artist awards.

Join us for the opening reception on Friday, September 6 between 7-9pm to meet curators Liz Martinez and Robyn Seaton McGarry and the artists. Mark your calendar now or set a reminder through Eventbrite at fiber-fabric.eventbrite.com.

Save the date for our 3rd annual HalloWEIRD Art Market in Colasanto Park just outside the gallery on Saturday, September 21 from 10am-4pm. The market offers diverse, original handcrafted artwork from talented local artists focused around the autumn season. The event is family-friendly and held rain or shine.
