ALEXANDRIA, VA — At Patch, we regularly feature adoptable pets from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. The nonprofit runs the city's animal shelter and provides other animal services.

This week's featured pet is Sunny. How can you resist his cute face with an underbite? He loves meeting new people and gets so excited when it's time for a walk.

Here's more information on Sunny from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria:

Sunny is an 8-year-old scruffy little guy who - one could argue - has the underbite of the century. While we were told Sunny takes some time to warm up to new people (and that may be the case in some instances), he is a very social little dog at the AWLA. He loves to go with us to adoption events off-site and does so well meeting new people. When he's leashed up for a walk, his little tail starts wagging with excitement. Sunny's favorite kind of toy is the small, squeaky plush ones. Sunny would love to find a home where he can relax and live "the good life" with lots of treats, toys, and affection.
