Police Reports: Break-Ins, Assault Arrests in the Del Ray Area

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.

July 20

6 a.m. — An arrest was made for driving under the influence at the corner of W. Rosemont Avenue and Russell Road.

July 19

9:31 p.m. — An arrest was made for a drug offense in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue.

10:40 a.m. — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 400 block of Calvert Avenue.

July 18

4:42 a.m. — A vehicle was reported stolen from the 200 block of MacArthur Boulevard.

1:32 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 3800 block of Russell Road.

1 a.m. — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 100 block of E. Mason Avenue.

July 17

11:38 a.m. — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 600 block of North View Terrace.

10:17 a.m. — An arrest was made for assault in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue.

July 16

4:28 p.m. — An assault was reported in the 800 block of W. Glebe Road.

12:04 p.m. — A victim’s car was reported ransacked on Forrest Street, but nothing was taken.

10:43 a.m. — A victim’s car was reported ransacked in the 100 block of E. Oxford Avenue, but nothing was taken.

7:57 a.m. — A victim’s car was reported ransacked while parked on Ashby Street.

July 15

8:24 p.m. — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 600 block of Ramsey Street.

2:25 a.m. — An arrest was made for assault in the 3900 block of Bruce Street.

July 14

6:52 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 200 block of Evans Lane.

July 13

12:07 a.m. — A suspect was arrested in the 3800 block of Russell Road for urinating in public.

July 12

10:26 p.m. — An arrest was made for assault in the 300 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

8:42 a.m. — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 100 of E. Luray Avenue.

July 11

1:54 p.m. — An arrest was made for assault in the 3200 block of Landover Street.

11:36 a.m. — The hood ornament from a Jaguar was reported stolen on W. Linden Street.
