Police Reports: Vehicle Thefts in the Del Ray Area

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.

Aug. 17

3:19 a.m. — An arrest was made for disorderly conduct in the 3400 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

Aug. 16

6:48 p.m. — An arrest was made for a liquor law violation in the 3900 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

Aug. 15

1:20 p.m. — A vehicle was reported stolen from the 3200 block of Commonwealth Avenue.

11:33 a.m. — A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 800 block of Little Street.

12:27 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 3800 block of Russell Road.

Aug. 14

6:24 p.m. — A theft was reported at the corner of Hemlock and Mason avenues.

12:26 p.m. — A theft was reported on E. Rosecrest Avenue. 

4:05 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 3400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

Aug. 13

6:13 p.m. — An unlocked bicycle was reported stolen from outside the CVS in the 400 block of Monroe Avenue.

3:59 p.m. — An arrest was made for assault in the 500 block of Four Mile Road.

2:57 p.m. — A GPS unit was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Clifford Avenue.

2:19 p.m. — A vehicle was reported stolen from the 3000 block of Fulton Street.

7:57 a.m. — A vehicle was reported stolen from the 3700 block of Old Dominion Boulevard.

Aug. 12

8:24 p.m. — Threatening and annoying phone calls are being received by a victim in the 100 block of E. Reed Avenue.

1:45 a.m. — An arrest was made for a liquor law violation in the 800 block of W. Glebe Road.

Aug. 11  

1:26 a.m. — A suspect was arrested for urinating in public in the 3900 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.
