• Man arrested after robbery and barricade in Del Ray (alxnow.com) — Police say a man was arrested after an early-morning strong-arm robbery and brief barricade situation in Del Ray, with no injuries reported. Officers initially left when he refused to cooperate, then returned later with a warrant and took him into custody without incident. Residents with information can contact Alexandria Police’s non-emergency line and may remain anonymous.
