UPDATE: 'Taste of Del Ray' to Be Held Indoors Sunday

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Due to the weather forecast Sunday, the 8th Annual Taste of Del Ray will take place Sunday inside at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center, 2701 Commonwealth Ave. Tickets are available to purchase at the door.

The event will return for its eighth year, taking place from 1-3 p.m. The competition, showcasing the diverse restaurants and talented chefs in Del Ray, is sponsored by the Del Ray Business Association.

Look for more than 15 neighborhood restaurants to participate in the outdoor culinary competition that will name the 2016 Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice awards. Ticket-holders will enjoy a variety of tastes and may cast their votes in the lot behind the United Bank, at 2401 Mt. Vernon and E. Oxford avenues.

Tickets will be $15 at the door.
