Taste Of Del Ray Returns To One Location In 2023

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Taste of Del Ray will return to a full in-person event in one location in 2023.

The Del Ray Business Association announced the 14th annual event will take place Sunday, June 4 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center fields 2701 Commonwealth Ave., Alexandria, VA. Participating restaurants will offer tastes for attendees.

A ticket gets attendees access to the event and a vote for the People's Choice Award. A VIP ticket for ages 21 and older provides early admission at 12 p.m. with a wine tasting.

Residents are encouraged to get tickets early, because the event has sold out in the past. There will be 500 general admission and 100 VIP tickets available. General admission tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children under 12 plus feed. VIP tickets are $60 plus fees.

Restaurants have not yet been announced for the event. Check back closer to the event for an announcement.

Judges' Choice and People's Choice awards are typically given at the event. See winners of the 2022 awards, 2021 winners, 2019 winners and 2018 winners. The event was not held in 2020 due to COVID-19.
