$1 Million Lottery Winner Is Manassas Man

MANASSAS, VA—According to Virginia Lottery officials, when George Tinnell of Manassas recently bought a Powerball ticket in Fairview Grocery at 9511 Fairview Avenue, he told the clerk: "I think I'm going to win this time."

Turns out he did, in fact, win. He won $1 million, to be precise. The winning numbers were 3-7-15-27-69. Tinnell said he played the same numbers he's been playing for a while. A landscaper, he said he has no immediate plans for the money except to pay bills.
