A Taste of Fall Raises $70,000 for Families in Need
FACETS will use this money to help families struggling with homelessness.
FACETS hosted its 13th annual A Taste of Fall to raise funds for local families in need.
The Oct. 20 event, a live and silent auction with food, drink and entertainment at the Sherwood Community Center, drew over 250 people and raised over $70,000 for families struggling with homelessness.
FACETS is a nonprofit that provides emergency food, shelter and medical needs to suffering families in the Fairfax area. Staffers also work with families to help them find permanent housing and overcome the cycle of poverty. Learn more here.
