Beer In The 'Burbs 2019: Brewers, Parking, Music In Fairfax City
Say hello to "Beer in the Burbs," a new craft beer and music festival in the heart of Fairfax City that soon will host myriad breweries.

FAIRFAX, VA—Now this sound way cool. And if the weather cooperates, it'll be that much cooler, as it were. Say hello to "Beer in the Burbs," a new craft beer festival that'll debut noon-5 p.m. Saturday, June 1, in Old Town Square at 10415 North Street.
More than 15 breweries from throughout the immediate area as well as other parts of Virginia will gather in the heart of the city with myriad libations of the hopsy variety. We're also talking live music and food trucks.
Put on by the City of Fairfax, the festival plans to have a different theme every year. For 2019, that thematic expression will focus on the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, officially known as the Woodstock Music and Art Festival held Aug. 15-18, 1969, at Max Yasgur's farm in Bethel, NY.
