Bring Gourmet Crepes to Fairfax through Local Kickstarter Campaign

A company called Dulce Crepes hopes to open a storefront restaurant in Fairfax with the help of a Kickstarter campaign that ends Oct. 16.

A new restaurant startup specializing in all things crepes is halfway funded through a Kickstarter campaign to open a storefront in Fairfax.

Dulce Crepes, the brainchild of Fairfax resident Alexandra Bucuresteanu, aims to redefine fast-food with 100 percent customizable crepes made fresh using local and organic ingredients. Inspired by Parisian cafes, Dulce Crepes are made from scratch and allow the customer to choose from 28 toppings and seasonal fillings.

With 21 days to go on her Kickstarter campaign, Bucuresteanu is more than halfway to her $19,500 goal. The Kickstarter campaign accounts for roughly 10 percent of Dulce Crepe’s initial capital to help the project launch by Spring 2015.
