Chesterbrook Academy® Preschoolers Donate Supplies to Those in Need
Students collected donations for children being treated at Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital, Dulles South Food Pantry, and For The Love
Students at Chesterbook Academy Preschool Fair Lakes of Fairfax recently donated hundreds of items to benefit local children and families in need. For the past few weeks, students collected 50 coloring books for children being treated at Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital, 80 snack packs for Dulles South Food Pantry, and dozens of toys for a family adopted through For The Love of Others.
To celebrate their achievements, the school hosted a holiday concert with hot cocoa, a cookie bar, and “ice skating” in the school hallway. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of giving back to their community and helping others, especially during the holiday season.
