This work will be performed throughout the spring season by certified arborists and Osmose Utilities Services, which is certified in herbicide application.

Vegetation located near power lines can conduct electricity, causing serious injury or death. Extended power outages may result from dead, diseased, or leaning trees that can fall on power lines.
Vegetation management is particularly important with the lush and mature tree canopy that exists throughout the city limits. The combination of mature trees, overhead power lines and inclement (or even extreme) weather results in heightened opportunity for power outages. Regular inspection and maintenance of these resources is vital for safety and power outage prevention.
