The National Weather Service forecasts an enhanced threat for damaging wind gusts from Saturday morning through early Sunday morning (March 12-13), with gale- to storm-force winds with gusts up to 55-60 m.p.h. into the early hours of Sunday. Secure loose items and be prepared in case power sources are affected.

Additionally, the area is under a winter weather advisory on the morning through afternoon on Saturday (March 12). Plan on slippery road conditions and possible reduced visibility during this time. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and reduce visibility, with brief near-blizzard conditions Saturday morning.
