Curbside Leaf Collection Begins Tuesday

Fairfax City will offer curbside leaf collection from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31. Here are a few tips to keep in mind:

• The city will not collect bagged leaves so rake loose leaves to the curb for collection.
• Grass clippings, weeds and other light yard debris will be collected, too, but keep stones, branches and other larger items out of the leaf piles.

This is a free service. The leaves will be collected from the curb on regular collection days.
