Curbside Leaf Collection Ends Soon In Fairfax

FAIRFAX, VA—Here's some pertinent leaf-collection information from the city:

• Curbside leaf collection ends Dec. 28.
• Please have loose leaves to the curb by Dec. 21. Light yard debris (like grass clippings, weeds) may be included in leaf piles. Please keep stones, branches and other large items out of leaf piles; they damage equipment and endanger workers' safety.
• Leaves after Dec. 28 must be placed at the curb on regular trash days in trash cans or yard waste bags. Please keep all leaves and other yard waste separate from trash at the curb.
