Fairfax High School Band Thanks Community for Record-Breaking Tag Day
Donations continue to be accepted online at fhsbands.org/tagday
Fairfax, VA — The Fairfax High School Band is celebrating its most successful Tag Day fundraiser ever, thanks to the generosity of the Fairfax community. Held on Saturday, September 6, the annual tradition brought students and volunteers door-to-door across neighborhoods, and donations have continued to roll in since, pushing this year’s totals past all previous years.
“Tag Day is only possible because of the incredible support we receive from our Fairfax community,” said Noah Freeman, Director of Bands at Fairfax High School. “Your generosity has made this year’s Tag Day our most successful yet, and every dollar will directly benefit our student musicians. We are so grateful for the kindness and encouragement you continue to show.”
Funds from Tag Day support essential needs including instruments, uniforms, transportation, music education clinics, and scholarships—ensuring every student has the opportunity to fully participate in the program.
