Fairfax Woman Arrested for Providing False ID to Car Crash Investigators
A Fairfax woman involved in a traffic crash on Fairfax Blvd. Thursday was arrested after providing false ID to investigators.

A woman involved in a traffic crash on Fairfax Boulevard was arrested Tuesday after presenting investigators with fraudulent identification.
During the course of a Fairfax City Police investigation into a traffic crash on Fairfax Boulevard and Plantation Parkway Thursday at 8:12 p.m., a female subject involved in the incident presented a fraudulent permanent resident card and a fraudulent Social Security card to an investigating officer.
Maria Gonzales, 22, of Fairfax, was charged with possession of fraudulent identification and released on a summons.

Larceny: 11200 Fairfax Boulevard / Giant Food Store – On Nov. 5 at 10:47 a.m., the victim reported that sometime after 10:15 a.m. unknown person(s) had taken prescription medications from a bag which he had left unattended on a bench in front of the store.

Credit Card Theft: 10100 Block of Mosby Woods Drive – On Nov. 5 at 9:11 p.m., the resident reported that on Nov. 1 unknown person(s) had used his credit card information to make unauthorized purchases at several businesses.
Larceny: 3301 Old Pickett Road / American Craftsman Pool and Spa – On Nov. 5 at 8:48 a.m., an employee reported that on Oct. 28 unknown person(s) had stolen a custom pool cover and pump from the rear of the business.
