Fairfax Youth Faces Armed Robbery, Property Destruction Charges

FAIRFAX, VA — An underage male in Fairfax was jailed last Friday after police connected him to an instance of property damage and an earlier armed robbery.

Police said the suspect, identified only as a male juvenile in a news release, was arrested in the 10600 block of Main Street after acting disorderly and causing damage to property.

After his arrest, the boy was identified as the suspect of a Nov. 28 armed robbery that happened at a 7-Eleven store in the 10900 block of Main Street. Police said the boy entered the store and brandished a knife. He then demanded cash and electronic cigarettes before fleeing on foot.

The boy was taken to the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center and charged with robbery and felony destruction of property.
