Free Meal For Veterans, Active-Duty Military Offered In Fairfax

A Fairfax restaurant is honoring Veterans Day by offering veterans and active-duty military a free meal on Tuesday.

FAIRFAX, VA — Veterans and active-duty military personnel can eat free on Tuesday at any of Lewis Restaurant Group's locations in the greater DMV, including one in Fairfax

In honor of Veterans Day, participating restaurants will welcome veterans and active-duty personnel to eat free from 12 p.m to 8 p.m., by ordering from a special menu selection. Crafthouse Fairfax, located at 11861 Palace Way, will be offering the special Eat Free offer.

“Veterans Day is about honoring the men and women who have stood for something greater than themselves,” said Fitzgerald Lewis, owner of Lewis Companies. “We’re grateful for their service and this is our way of saying thank you, with a meal served in their honor.”

The Eat Free offer is open to all veterans and active-duty members who present valid proof of military service, such as a Veteran ID, DoD ID Card, Veteran Health ID Card, or a driver’s license with the “Veteran” designation. The offer includes selected menu items, limited to one per veteran or active-duty member. Beverages and gratuity are excluded.
