Here's the schedule for fiscal year 2014 budget meetings and capital improvement project presentations.

• Dec. 11: Council public hearing on budget guidelines
• Jan. 8: Joint planning commission and council review of recommendations and CIP.
• Feb. 26: Work season and city manager presentation of proposed budget.
• March 13: Staff presentations, public outreach meeting
• March 19: Council meeting to consider proposed real estate tax rate for 2014.
• March 26: Budget markup and public outreach meeting.
• April 9: Public hearing on budget and work session.
• April 23: Public hearing on budget and work session.
• May 1: Public hearing and budget adoption. This is a Wednesday.
