MONDAY

• XBOX Kinect at Community Center. Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center unveils its new Xbox 360 Kinect system. Try it out. Ages 8-13, 3-4 p.m.; 14-18, 4-5 p.m.

TUESDAY

• FCPA Farmer's Market. Fresh produce and local goods. Van Dyck Park, 8 a.m.
• National Night Out. Block parties, walks, meet-ups with police officers and more throughout Fairfax City. Individual event times vary, but most will be between 6:30 and 9 p.m. Contact your neighborhood leaders or civic association for more info.
