GMU to Host 2nd Annual Green Job Networking Fair Nov. 10
Students, alumni and the general public are welcome to attend GMU's second annual Green Job Networking Fair Nov. 10 at the Johnson Center.

George Mason University is hosting its second annual Green Job Networking Fair Monday, Nov. 10.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Johnson Center’s Dewberry Hall on George Mason’s Fairfax Campus.
Major employers including the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and environmentally friendly businesses and nonprofits will be present at the event, hosted by Mason’s Office of Sustainability and University career Services. Representatives will also be present from the following organizations, among others:

- Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food and Agriculture
- Clean Fairfax
- Earth Sangha
- Fairfax County Farmers’ Markets
- MOM’s Organic Market
- Traderoots LLC
- Walnut Hill Farm
Attendees are encouraged to research green industry trends even before they arrive.
“Be prepared with thoughtful questions about how these employers are playing a critical role in their contributions toward conserving energy, developing alternative energy, reducing pollution or recycling,” said Christine Cruzvergara, director of University Career Services in the Division of University Life.
